The News At last our new-look Newsletter is ready to go. It's been an evolutionary process but we have finally gotten it where we want it. Phew – we’re finely through our process of re-branding - at least we think we've changed everything over. Thanks for all of your positive feedback and good wishes. We’re really pleased with how our new name and look has been received. Also, we’ve made some changes to our website since it first went live so we could showcase more of our work. So, please take a look when you have time. Any feedback is welcome.

Harry Bates-Smith (our website designer) left a few months ago. He decided to go back to uni to complete a degree in graphic design. Harry’s still works for us on a freelance basis in between classes at Curtin. Lena Vock replaced Harry. Lena completed a BA in Communication Design in Hamburg, Germany in 2006. She then worked in London for 3 years. First for a small graphic design studio and then for an international magazine publisher. She made the big leap to Australia with her Aussie partner in early 2009. After spending a few months driving around Australia (before the Nissan Urvan had its last stop in Mt Isa), she settled in East Fremantle. We feel very lucky to have her as part of our team. |

Time to turn over a new leaf ! Introducing Churchview Estate's new Silverleaf range. Churchview came to Tangelo with a brief to develop a clean new look for their entry level wine range. Silverleaf replaces the Sunset Ridge range which was originally developed as an export label. The labels needed to incorporate the Churchview branding while clearly looking different to the Churchview range. We designed the labels including the printing effects, cartons and all point of sale material for the range. We are really pleased with the result and expect lots of people will be turning over a new leaf when these bottles hit the shelves. To see more of our work on the whole Churchview range of wines, visit their website www.churchview.com.au |

Never ones to be stumped with a client’s request for us to provide a new product or service, we brought together a couple of key suppliers to produce a Fly Through DVD for Bass Metals. This included a geotechnical specialist and a digital editor. Following their listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, Bass wanted to be able to demonstrate the location and potential of their tenements and facilities in Tasmania to investors in Europe. So, to the theme from Gunsmoke, the mine’s ore body and extraction/processing facilities and infrastructure are showcased. The feedback was excellent from potential investors and from Bass Metals.

Next Door Restaurant & Bar - Defiantly Different Next Door is a bar and restaurant on Fremantle’s Cappuccino Strip – right ‘next door’ to the iconic Gino’s Cafe. It offers a different experience to the usual Fremantle restaurant, with a unique menu of dishes designed to share. After opening, Next Door’s owners came to us for help with their marketing/promotion. We devised a multi-pronged strategy to get more customers in the door - including sourcing a journalist for media releases (which created lots of buzz and were picked up by many WA newspapers), designing and managing press and direct mail ad campaigns, producing their menus, and building their website. Next time you’re in Fremantle and stuck for ideas of where to eat in Fremantle - you might want to give Next Door a try. You can visit their website at www.nextdoorbar.com.au |
